After the Audience 2010 reports called attention to the stagnation of public radio's audience growth, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting funded a system-wide project involving a task force of station, network and philanthropic leaders. The project is directed by the Station Resource Group.
Four research reports were published during the first year of Grow The Audience.
In 2011 we used new PPM audience data to measure the performance of NPR news format stations and classical music stations. The new reports identify the factors that predict audience performance as well as listener support for public stations in large markets.
